I was raised on a small farm in Rochester, NH. In my early thirties I decided that my life was going nowhere. I decided to go back to school for my childhood desire of being around animals. I graduated from NHCTC with an associates degree in Veterinary Technology.
I worked for 9 years at the Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Portsmouth, NH as a Veterinary Technician. Over the years I gained much experience in emergency and critical care nursing. I went on to expand my knowledge working as an ultrasound technician/coordinator for a local Emergency Critical Care Specialist.
In 2007 my life changed as I got married, moved to Maine and found myself back on the farm. At that time I left my position in Portsmouth, NH and became general manager/technician at the Ridge Animal Hospital in Sanford, ME. Over a period of time I have decided this position was not my calling, as I was missing the nursing care and other aspects of my career.
I decided to start my own business that would combine helping people with home care for their domestic pets and farm animals. It is a service that can allow you to take time for a vacation, spending time with an aging family member, supporting a friend during illness, or just leaving home for a day of shopping. I look forward to being a service to you and your pets.
Sincerely,
Paws To Hoofs Homecare, LLC
